After more than 12 years’ experience as an ESD and thermal comfort consultant at Efficient Living, it’s safe to say I have extensive knowledge of construction across various scales of projects.
After working on thousands of homes, I’ve developed a keen interest in ensuring the projects we work on are built correctly in compliance with NatHERS and BASIX requirements. After all, what’s the point of designing a sustainable building that doesn’t perform once built?
My role involves improving installation quality and documentation; managing on-site product substitution and design changes during construction; and supporting builders to ensure the building is built as specified. These are key to ensuring sustainability goals are met and occupants can live comfortably. I love working with clients to find the most efficient solutions through smart passive design and highly efficient construction materials.
I have a Bachelor of Environmental Management and a Diploma of Architectural Technology. It’s rewarding being able to use my passion for architecture to build a more sustainable future.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my three beautiful kids, sunshine, surfing and holidays!
